25th July - 6th August 2025
This trip will be focused on cupping for purchasing. You’ll see our selection process firsthand and gain a deeper understanding of how we source coffee at origin, all while learning more about the Peruvian supply chain.
Keep in mind we’re heading to Peru earlier this year due to shifting market conditions and the low liquidity of our suppliers—meaning we need to move faster on our purchasing decisions.
This trip is designed for roasteries of all sizes, regardless of the type or volume of coffee you buy from Peru. It’s especially valuable for those who source from the same suppliers year after year and want to strengthen those relationships.
Overview
Regions we’ll visit: Cutervo, Amazonas, and Lonya Grande.
What to expect: Cupping sessions with our established suppliers, a couple of farm visits, plus a cupping with a potential new supplier. You will be accompanied by our Green Coffee Buyer & Sales Representative for Peru, Rory Rosenberg.
