In 2026, Nordic Approach is offering three Ethiopia origin trip windows for roasters who want to travel to origin, visit producers, and cup fresh coffees with our sourcing team in Addis Ababa. Guided by our Ethiopian Country Manager, Adham, these trips are designed to help you experience harvest firsthand, deepen your understanding of Ethiopian coffee production, and strengthen your sourcing relationships.

Week TBA : January
Field trip to the South
A week in the field visiting farms, washing stations, and meeting producers.
This trip is not for cupping or buying, but ideal for those who want to deepen their understanding of Ethiopian production and meet our partners at origin.
Week 10: March 2–8
Cupping & buying – Washed coffees
Join us in Addis for cupping sessions focused on washed coffees from across Ethiopia. This is the key period for selecting washed lots.
Week 16: April 13–19
Cupping & buying – Naturals + Anaerobics
A week in Addis dedicated to naturals and experimental processes. Ideal for those looking for fruit-forward, expressive profiles.
