We deliver a vast array of services for the coffee industry
We support all quality-oriented businesses, no matter their size, location, or years of experience. We know that all roasters are different, so we tailor our services to fit each of your needs individually.
We’re not afraid to dig deep, take risks and bet on new producers in the most challenging origins.
We implement quality checks from the very first coffees coming off the drying tables, to the ones ready for shipment. Our highly skilled team continuously, and repeatedly cups and scores each one of our coffees. We have strict protocols on the physical analyses of our products, their humidity, water activity, and density.
You can order ready-to-dispatch coffee, pre-harvest options, or coffee from shipments on the way to our warehouse. In our offer list, we have a specific selection of origins with a great variety of seasonal options coming in throughout the year.
We can help you plan your coffee selection in advance, to secure seasonal, consistent and higher quality greens - and potentially save costs. You can also travel with us to origin, visit the producers we source from and cup lots of coffee.
Seabridge is a modern warehouse in Europe with the proper infrastructure to store and manage specialty coffee. It regulates the indoor climate and humidity levels and is mainly solar powered. If you don’t have your own storage possibilities, we’ve got you covered. The warehouse is located in Belgium.
We offer competitive freight rates and efficient delivery services, no matter your location. Each of our sales reps is an expert in a different region with extensive knowledge on the requirements and regulations of each market.

Start by outlining what you need: preferred origins, volumes, target price points, flavour profiles, shipment timing and delivery terms. Your Nordic Approach sales contact will use this information to help identify suitable options and guide you through the process.
Your sales contact will share the origins currently open for Forward planning, relevant harvest and booking calendars, current offer lists, available samples, and indicative shipment periods and delivery terms. You will review the available coffees and cup the offer samples provided by Nordic Approach.
Our procurement team curates the selection based on your needs and the coffees available through the relevant programs. Once you've identified the coffees you want, we'll work together to confirm availability, volumes, pricing and the expected shipment period.
Timely feedback matters. The quicker you cup and make decisions, the faster we can expedite shipments.
Choose FOB if you arrange and pay for ocean freight, or CIF if you want freight and insurance to your destination port included in the price. FCA, through our warehouse, is also available by agreement.
Once the coffee, volume, price, shipment period, delivery terms and payment terms are agreed, Nordic Approach prepares the sales contract. Review the contract carefully to make sure the commercial and shipping details match your requirements. Provide proof of payment as stated in the sales contract instructions.
Approve the pre-shipment samples (PSS) before dispatch. Complete payment according to your contract and prepare for customs clearance and receipt where applicable.
The shipment is booked under the agreed FOB, CIF or FCA terms. Final documents and payment are completed according to the contract, and you prepare for customs clearance and cargo reception where applicable.
Forward is Nordic Approach’s service for coffee planned and booked ahead of availability. It’s designed for customers looking to secure larger volumes at better price points, with a working minimum of 100+ bags. Shipments can be arranged through our warehouse (FCA), shipped to your destination port with freight arranged by you (FOB), or shipped to your destination port with freight included (CIF), depending on the agreed terms and shipment plan. We identify suitable coffees, work with producers and partners at origin, provide samples for selection and approval, and support contracting, planning and logistics. The coffee is then prepared and shipped according to the agreed terms.
What is Forward?
Who is it for?
Forward is for roasters who want to plan purchasing in advance and can commit to larger volumes. It is especially relevant if you need to secure coffee for future production, coordinate purchases with harvest periods, or plan shipments around your own stock and sales forecasts.
