About

Marius Trovik

Works as Digital Development Manager at Nordic Approach, with responsibility for developing and maintaining digital systems that support how the company works with information, customers, and internal processes.

Originally from Stavanger, he spent over a decade in Bonn before moving to Oslo in 2025, bringing a background in economics, programming, and digital development.

Role and responsibility

His role centres on developing and improving the digital infrastructure that supports Nordic Approach’s operations, with a focus on how information is structured, accessed, and used across systems.

This includes working across the organisation to ensure that tools and platforms reflect how the company operates in practice, and support a consistent and efficient experience for both internal teams and customers.

Approach and ways of working

A central part of the work is translating operational needs into digital solutions that are robust over time, with a focus on clarity, usability, and long-term development.

This includes improving how information is connected across systems, supporting both internal workflows and how customers interact with Nordic Approach over time.

The work contributes to building a more consistent and accessible digital layer around the company’s operations, supporting how coffees are presented, understood, and worked with across markets.

Experience and background

Joined Nordic Approach in 2026.

Prior to this, worked with programming and digitalisation in an academic setting, including at the Bonn Graduate School of Economics, alongside community work with international students.

His background combines technical development with an understanding of systems, structure, and user needs.

Perspective

Approaches coffee from a systems and user perspective, with an interest in how information, experience, and culture come together across the value chain.

Sees coffee both as a product and a daily practice, where accessibility, clarity, and context shape how it is experienced and understood.

Education

Holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Bonn (2025), and a BBA from the University of Stavanger (2011).
